A library that only opens after dark
Epilogue already played the library card year-round — books, art-deco lounge energy, adults-only hideaway inside Four Seasons Resort Orlando. For spooky season, the room gets a second chapter.
Epilogue: The Hidden Chapter is the resort’s seasonal pop-up: an old Florida library closed for decades that somehow still hosts after-hours ghostwriters. Four Seasons’ Sep. 16 press release leans atmospheric, not jump-scare — cobwebs, vines and moss, antique books under candlelight, velvet and brass. Thematic menus and literary touches run through the bookcases. It is elegant-haunt, not haunted-maze.
Nights are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday only, with seatings starting at 6 p.m., from Sep. 17 through Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026. Tickets are $85 per person, purchased in advance; each includes two custom cocktails. Walk-ins are not accepted, and capacity is limited. OpenTable’s listing for Epilogue (Golden Oak) mirrors the same window and price for the Hidden Chapter experience — roughly a two-hour, 21+ seating.
The drinks have Florida footnotes
Mixologist Jaclyn Keogh and the resort team built limited-time cocktails off Florida folklore and historic sites — the part that keeps this from feeling like a generic hotel Halloween overlay.
- Ulele— named for the Florida folklore figure: Hendrick’s Oasium Gin, spirulina, Luxardo Herbal Liqueur, lemon, Ambrose mead.
- Painted Lady— nodding to Brooksville’s May-Stringer House: sake, Lillet Blanc, almond elixir, Moody Bitters, palo santo.

How to book (and how not to)
Reserve on OpenTable for Epilogue. That is the utility path the resort itself points to. Do not show up hoping the host stand will freestyle you in — the press language is blunt: walk-ins are not accepted. OpenTable also still lists a separate standard Speakeasy ticket tier ($75) for the non–Hidden Chapter experience; if you want the haunted-library season, book the Hidden Chapter $85 ticket specifically.
