The new American bar and grill opens Monday, Sept. 21, at 124 Ruby Red Place inside Flamingo Crossings Town Center in Winter Garden. Flatlands puts Clothesline bacon front and center, with open-flame steaks, Gulf seafood, handmade pastas, slow-roasted chicken, and burgers filling out the kitchen’s pitch.
It’s framed as an everyday neighborhood spot that can also handle a bigger night out — dinner when nobody feels like cooking, drinks with friends, or a table for out-of-town guests who want something other than a theme-park meal. Weekend brunch is part of the plan once the doors open.
